2019 Sponsorship Opportunities

2nd Annual East Metro Economic Prosperity Forum - May 9, 2019

  ($5,000 - $500)

The East Metro communities of Gresham, Troutdale, Fairview, and Wood Village are a dynamic and rapidly changing part of the Portland Metro Region. Change is here now with more coming our way. East Metro Economic Alliance is holding a Forum of business, education, government and civic leaders to look at change, not watch it happen, but take an active role in shaping outcomes. The primary thesis for the Forum is:  Building a vibrant community together: Consensus building to promote collective regional economic prosperity.The East Metro Economic Prosperity Forum would look at where we are now and then work with the participants from all key segments of the communities to foster a dynamic action-oriented conversation that can result in new projects and ideas that can empower East County leaders in actions, bring equity, and help East County realize its full potential.

 

Sponsorship options include Title sponsor ($5,000), Breakout Sponsor ($3,000), Speaker Sponsor ($2,000),  Table Sponsor ($1,000), Reception Sponsor ($500). This event is a jewel in the region and will provide great exposure for your organization including earned media, social media advertising, online, and print advertising. This event will also be filmed and played on MetroEast Community Media and your logo will also be displayed in the Forum Report that is distributed to the community.  


2019 Start Up East Metro - August 8, 2019

  ($2,000)

EMEA will be hosting it inaugural Start Up East Metro pitch fest event to encourage entrepreneurship in the East Metro community. We will be working with the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network and the Small Business Development Center at Mt. Hood Community College to provide an interactive event where entrepreneurs and small business owners in East Metro pitch their business or business idea and take questions from our esteemed panel of judges. At the end of the event, the attendees get to vote on the winners with the winners receiving cash and technical support.

2019 State of Education - October 10, 2019

  ($2,000)

EMEA will be hosting the 2019 East Metro State of Education.  We are excited to invite superintendents from Gresham/Barlow, Reynolds, Centennial, David Douglas, Oregon Trail and the Mt. Hood Community College President.The panel will focus on providing updates from each of the school districts and informing businesses how they can be directly involved.  There will also be updates on recently passed bonds and future bond requests, as well as a discussion on Career Technical Education and Dropout Reduction.  As education is important to the economic vitality and livability of our region, this is a meeting you definitely want to attend.  We will also be discussing how businesses can further engage with both the schools and students.

5th Annual Legislative Breakfast - December 5, 2019

We are excited to host the 5th Annual EMEA Legislative Breakfast to provide you an opportunity to speak with our state elected officials prior to the start of the 2019 Legislative Session. We will be inviting State Representatives and State Senators and allow them to share with you their priorities for the upcoming 2020 legislative session and it will be a chance for them to hear from you directly about how legislation can or is having an impact on your business or organization.

EMEA will have three Membership Lunches this year that will feature expert panels. In March (3/14), the panel of experts will be focused on Workforce. April's (4/11) lunch will focus on Alternative Housing and Accessory Dwelling Units. July's (7/11) lunch will feature a panel of Legislators recapping the 2019 Legislative Session. These events will be hosted at Fairview City Hall and include a fabulous lunch from a local caterer.

EMEA Webinar Series

EMEA has started a webinar series to provide the community with essential information in an accessible format with options to join live or watch later on our website or YouTube channel. We are schedule to have 10 of these in 2019 with your logo discpayed on all event announcements and advertisement as well as on the the webinar and the recordings.
