Shaping the future of East Metrothrough economic advocacy.
Financial Wellness for Employees and Entrepreneurs
One of the strategic initiatives from the 2018 East Metro Economic Prosperity Forum centered on financial literacy for employees and small business owners. EMEA Member Key Bank has a great program called Key@Work. Key@Work is a comprehensive financial wellness program offered by Key Bank. Through this program, employees can join group financial education classes, attend in-depth, one-on-one financial wellness review meetings, and gain exclusive access to special discounts on Key Bank's products and services at no cost to employers or their employees.
The ability to grow is important to the health of every business. Whether you're a new entrepreneur looking to add your first employee, or an established employer needing to attract and retain top talent, employees can account for as much as 70% of your total business costs. One solution to help contain total labor costs is implementing a workforce financial wellness program. Research has shown that financially well employees are more productive while at work, better prepared for minor emergencies, and better prepared for retirement and healthcare expenses.
Sarah Taylor of Key Bank will be presenting during the webinar. She will be discussing what it means to be financially well, why financial wellness is important for your business, how to select a financial wellness program and how to measure your return on investment.
